- Objectives:
- Remove activated and/or
contaminated components from the TFTR Test Cell, Test Cell
Basement and Tritium Area.
- Provide data for the
decommissioning of future fusion projects.
- Not a typical decontamination
and decommissioning (D&D) project
- Will not be returned to
"green field" conditions
- Facility will not be released
for unrestricted use
- Will use PPPL resources, plans,
policies and procedures where possible
